This model of Siegfried, is one of nine full size models created by Paul Jonas Studios after the Sinclair Dinoland exhibit at the 1964-65 World’s Fair in New York. The full scale model of the Stegosaurus arrived at the museum in the fall of 1964. The dinosaur was a prominent feature on the Museum’s grounds at Cedar Street until 1971 and has moved to several locations on the museum’s current property at 222 Harrington Way. A Worcester icon, Siegfried has also been featured in two children’s books. This 1/10 scale model was created just prior to the full size model as a fundraising tool.
