Description

The smiley face pin came from honest and humble beginnings. The face on the pin was created by Harvey Ball, in Worcester in 1963 for a morale campaign at Worcester-based State Mutual Life Assurance Company. It was an instant hit and quickly went on to become the enduring international symbol of good will and good cheer. It is a proud part of Worcester’s heritage!
